Why Seriously?

It all started when I wanted to describe an insane moment that happened to us at a financial planning meeting of all places. There was no way anyone could understand how ridiculous it really was without a picture, so I sketched out what happened. I got a great response and from then on decided that I would continue to record the silly occurrences in our family that no camera could capture in sketches. It is a fun way for me to get the hilarious quotes and crazy moments down on paper before they vanish from my multitasking mommy mind.

The sketches are rough and quick -- I don't spend a lot of time on them or expect them to be perfect, but for me they come to life because they are real. Thanks for reading! I hope you can relate and laugh along with us.

And Seriously -- I only tell it how it is.

I am an entrepreneur mom who spends my time chasing 4 kids and trying to learn everything I need to know about running my little FLIPZLES company. I love doing portraits and puzzle design. I love toys, so along with puzzles I enjoy painting all shapes and sizes of nesting dolls. Sometimes I attempt to dabble in photography, and I dream of one day having my very own wood shop... I have a hard time sticking to any one thing for long enough to be really good at it. But all in all if I am creating something I am happy.
