You would think by the third kid I'd have learned enough to ask before I spent an hour 

zipping, buttoning, tightening and fastening.  

Oh well, better now than a frozen load of yellow snow clothes to wash after he comes in.

Last Night's Conversation

Ok-- I am not sure what Jake really thought after this conversation... but I think I made a pretty good guess.  

I did end the conversation by telling him that he was above average at pretty much everything but definitely average at making me feel better :)

I know he puts up with a lot and I am glad that he loves me despite all my rants and mediocrity ;)

Happy Valentine's Day Babe!  I love you better than average.

And though this may appear that I am fishing for compliments... really and truly I am not... after I stopped being grumpy I got a laugh out of the craziness of the conversation and I thought everyone could relate to the communication warp that sometimes happens between husbands and wives.

Mid-day -- semi-sweet voice...

Afternoon -- Slightly louder and more stern...

By the end of the day...
when flying leaps and gymnastic tricks are involved.
